Job Description

As a Territorial Sales Manager with Mspark, you will lead, manage, develop and train our Local Account Executives in Birmingham and surrounding markets including Huntsville and Northern Alabama.

If you have a history of attracting and developing a sales team of hunters who can also foster and maintain client relationships, then I want to talk to you.  As one of Mspark’s Territorial Sales Managers, you will manage a team of five Local Account Executives that sell our direct mail advertising programs with data-driven marketing solutions to businesses in the restaurant, automotive, furniture, mattress, hardware, grocery, and fitness & salon categories.  We focus on selling to local decision makers of small and midsize businesses (SMBs) and franchise owners.  Sure, we prefer print sales management experience but if you have proven B2B local media sales management experience, leading a team of outside sales people, you may still be a match.

Working from your home, ideally in the Birmingham area, you would lead a team of work-from-home Local Account Executives (“AEs”) in our Northern Alabama markets including Birmingham.  Your AE’s are assigned a local geographic territory where they have face to face interaction with their clients in addition to making cold calls by swinging doors and over the phone.  Our Sales Managers travel weekly within their markets to lead and coach their sales team face to face in addition to weekly phone calls with them.
